How to use SMS service to convert an enquiry into admission

In this topic we will discuss how to use SMS service of institute management software to convert an enquiry into admission.

In an institute a lot of student enquiry encountered. Out of total enquiries some enquiries convert into admission and some enquiries remains pending.

Thus we will discuss some SMS tips through which you can motivate the student to convert these enquiries into admission.

LET US START

First of all click on SMS templates in help menu.

Now we will create SMS template of enquiries. Thus double click the list of enquiries. Now write a template.

Firstly write dear, select name from dynamic field list. Thus when SMS will be sent to student then his/her name will be replaced by name.

Now click OK.

Thus template has been created. Now double click on template.

Then click on make a copy.

Thus the copy of this template has been created.

Now double click this template. Erase the whole template SMS. Now write dear then select name from dynamic field. After writing whole template click OK.

Now it is necessary to do setting of API to send SMS. Click on configure SMS API.

When you purchase bulk SMS pack then you get API. Thus this is the API setting. Now close it.

Now to send SMS click on enquiries in entries menu.

Select student whom you want to send SMS. You can also select all students by ticking select all.

Thus after selecting student click on SMS.

Thus software will display all template list. Now double click the template to send the SMS.

If you want to modify the SMS then you can do it. After doing modification click on send SMS.

As soon as you click send SMS the SMS will be sent to student. If you want to create a new template at a time then click on define a new SMS template.

Thus you can create a new template as we discussed before. Now close it If you want to select another template then double click it. Now click send SMS. Now close it.

Thus using this SMS facility you can motivate the student and there is more chances to convert your enquiry into admission.
