Now Migrate Your data from SQL Server to MS Access or MS Access to SQL Server

In ERP Software, Now you can migrate your existing MS Access database to SQL Server database anytime OR migrate your SQL Server data to MS Access.

Very Simple Procedure. Just Backup and Restore.

1. Click on Select Company

2. Double Click on your company name and you will see your company name and its database path on your computer

3. Click on 3dots button to select path where you want to store your backup data

4. Select your path where data is to be stored,

5. Click OK

6. Click Create Backup

If your database is ms sql database, then this process may take several minutes to complete your backup depending upon the volume of data you have. During this procedure, you will not be able to work on ERP Software. So it is recommended to backup your data whenever system is free.

If you backup an SQL Server database, then you will see 3 files in backup data folder.

1. .lbk

2. .kbk

3. .mbk

If your backup n Access Database, then you will see only 1 file

How to Restore your Backup Data

Click on Company >> Restore

Click on Select Backup File.

In case you have backed up your data from an SQL Database. Then select any one file from these 3 files.

in case of access, you have only 1 file, select this file to restore

Once you select your backup file.

Here you have options to migrate your data to any database.

For Example : If you have sql database as backup, the you can continue to restore it as sql server or you can migrate this data to ms access and vice versa

If you want to coninue with the same database then keep it checked “Continue to tore sql server database”

If you want to migrate to access then check on “Migrate this data to MS Access Database”
