Due to huge demand of ERP software on VAT implementation in UAE, Business ERP Software now supports VAT system of UAE.
Options Setting = “Utilities > Options > 1. General”
1. Set Tax System as VAT
2. Select Your country as UAE
3. Select Your State e.g. Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Sharjah
Setup Currency Settings
The United Arab Emirates dirham, also known as simply the Emirati dirham, is the currency of the UnitedArab Emirates. The dirham is officially abbreviated "AED" which has ‘Fils’ as subunit. One AED contains 100 Fils.
In Date and Serial No. Options
In currency : > Write manually “AED” as Currnecy and ‘Fils’ as Sub Currency
Tick “Enable Multi Language Feature” to enable Arabic Support powered by Google Input Tools
Setup Taxation Structure of UAE
Masters > Tax Slabs
Delete all the GST Slabs already created
Create new VAT Slabs as per your tax structure
Create Accounts of your Customers
When “Enable Multi Language Feature” is activated, you will notice that your Print Name column is non-editable and have a pencil sign next to Print Name column
Click this Pencil Sign to input customer name in your own language.
Google Input Tools
To be able to input your customer name in your own language, you need to download Google Input Tools from https://goo.gl/bnX5Rf
Google Input Tools for Windows is an input method editor which allows users to enter text in any of the supported languages using a Latin (English / QWERTY) keyboard. Users can type a word the way it sounds using Latin characters and Google Input Tools for Windows will convert the word to its native script. Available input tools include transliteration, IME, and on-screen keyboards.
Google Input Tools for Windows is currently available for 22 different languages: Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Persian, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Serbian, Sinhala, Tamil, Telugu, Tigrinya and Urdu.
Clicking the pencil sign, Business ERP will prompt for entering the customer name in your own language, select your language “Arabic” from Google Input tools language selector in taskbar and input your customer name in Arabic language in this blue colored prompt.
You may notice that as you type in English, its getting typed in Arabic Language itself.
Remember to select this “Arabic” Language on Blue Colored Window only after that selected English language again to continue in English.
If you continue to use “Arabic for Address, city etc.” it will show as ??????? signs. As such it is recommended for Print Name only. So remember yourself to switch between these languages smartly.
When you have correctly edited your customer print name, press enter, you will notice that print name in your printname column.
Create Items with Item Name in Arabic.
As such Arabian VAT Authorities have recommended to write item name in English as well as Arabic language in Bill format, you need to define item’s name in Arabic language at the time of creating item masters
Follow same instructions to input itemname in Arabic language as we entered Account Print Name

Important Information: if you Bill format is Unicode Bill Format i.e. Arabic Language supported Bill Format, then it must be in “Multi Print” Folder on your software application path.
You must select the RPT file from “Multi Print” Folder only.
